Ferrybridge Power Station and Poppies

Although Ferrybridge Power Station was a big industrial eye sore it was also an iconic local landmark and a part of me was sad when it was finally demolished in 2022. It had been a focal point in my landscape photography a number of times.It was only in 2013 (that I saw) that there was a fantastic poppy field allowing for shots like this!It is only recently I’ve learned there’s ‘Ferrybridge Henge’ a Neolithic site site also in this field area!
