Horned Adder in Namibia

This was a snake I was very excited to see in Namibia. The horned adder (Bitis caudalis) not to confused with the adder we have in the UK. This snake is more venomous than our adder but still not that dangerous. Found in desert areas across a few different countries in Africa but often difficualt to find as it often hides in the sand. This one was found under a small shrub in the desert.
