Kingfisher Portait

Ever since I got into photography I've had a fascination with kingfishers. Once I had bought a Canon 5DS I had an idea of creating a unique style kingfisher portrait. So I went to my friends Mark Hughes kingfisher hide with my Canon 5DS, Canon 500mm f/4.0, and an extension tube and created a sort of giant macro rig. Quite a tricky photograph to take as any movement on the equipment caused a loss of sharpness so a remote release was essential for this shot.
