Red Kite Catching Worms

Although an old image it is one of my favourites as it shows the wing structure of the red kite so well. I was driving back home from Adel Dam and was close to Harewood when I saw about 15 red kites flying in the air. When I pulled the car over I saw that a farmer was plowing a field and the kites were feasting on freshly exposed worms. A really interesting behaviour to see!
