The Aurora Factory

One night whilst guiding for http://lightsoverlapland.com we had taken the guests via snowmobile to a lavvu (Sami name for teepee and the one in the photograph). It was a full moon hence it looking so bright. People are often under the misconception that you can't see the aurora in a full moon. You can, it does mean the aurora appears a little less bright, but it does mean you see the colours more clearly. Here my clients wondered what I was doing as I rushed about the frozen lake to line up the aurora with the top of the lavvu. Hence the name of the photograph!
